Technical specifications
METALFIP 335 is an acidic liquid product, free of nitric acid, to be used as is and, therefore, capable of preventing any possible dilution error. Its high solubility in water makes rinsing very easy after the treatment of the parts.
METALFIP 335, within the recommended contact times, does not attack metals as it contains suitable inhibitors.
Use and Applications
Concentration: neat product
Temperature: 20°C
Contact times: from a few seconds to a few minutes.
In order to obtain the best brightening results and avoid deterioration of the bath, it is advisable to precede with:
1) Decontamination to remove oils and greases
2) Cold rinse, or preferably, with warm water
3) Drying
This last operation is recommended to avoid introducing water into the METALFIP 335 bath, which, however, can be tolerated up to a maximum of 5-10% of the total volume.
METALFIP 335 can be used in PVC-lined tanks.

Precautions
