Ultrafip 607 degreaser is suitable for all metals. It is particularly suitable for removing polishing and lapping pastes, emulsifiable and whole oils with the aid of ultrasound. ULTRAFIP 607 works in a practically neutral environment and is therefore suitable for aluminium, brass and zamak.
The product avoids the overly alkaline conditions typical of many degreasing processes. The absence of caustic soda eliminates risks to operators, just as the lack of lignin sulphonates avoids problems when cleaning drains. Foaming agent.
The product can be used as a highly degreasing additive for alkaline baths.

Bathroom control
The liquor is titrated by determining the total alkalinity with bromocresol green indicator (VBC) and 0.1 N hydrochloric or sulphuric acid titrant solution as follows:
- Using a graduated pipette, take 10 ml of bath, add 4-5 drops of VBC indicator, 50 ml of demineralised water and titrate with 0.1 N acid until the solution turns from blue to yellow.
The number of ml of 0.1 N acid consumed in the titration multiplied by 6.9 gives the concentration in g/l of the bath.
CAUTION: This determination is valid for an initial bath prepared with low hardness water. Factors influencing the score are:
a) Water alkalinity due to hardness and other salts. It should be predetermined on a case-by-case basis and subtracted from the consumption of the analysis.
b) Alkalinity from pastes and oils (especially emulsifiables).
