Technical specifications
ULTRAFIP 633 is a liquid, alkaline product, safe on all metals, composed of a balanced mixture of organic sequestering agents, soaps, and surfactants with high cleaning power.
ULTRAFIP 633 is used for immersion degreasing with or without ultrasonics, and is specifically designed for removing polishing pastes from polished aluminum parts.
Its high content of emulsifying agents makes it effective on various types of contaminants, including not only pastes, but also fine dust and oils, both neat and soluble.
Use and Applications
The main use of ULTRAFIP 633 is in static immersion treatment systems or with the aid of systems where the formation of a foam blanket does not compromise applicability, such as ultrasound or rotary barrels.
Concentration of ULTRAFIP 633: 3 – 10 %
Solution temperature: 30 – 80 °C
Treatment time: 5 – 15 min

Bath control
Concentration control is performed by titration of the total alkalinity present in the solution, using the following method:
Take 10 ml of washing solution and transfer them into a flask
Add about 6-8 drops of bromocresol green indicator
Titrate with 0.1N hydrochloric acid until the color changes from blue to yellow
The ml of 0.1N hydrochloric acid used represent the total alkalinity value.
A bath prepared at 3% of ULTRAFIP 633 corresponds to 9 points or consumption of 0.1N acid.

Storage
For the handling and storage of the product, it is recommended to comply with the instructions in the relevant safety data sheet. If possible, use covered warehouses, avoiding exposure of the product to heat sources or temperatures below 5°C.
