Technical specifications
ULTRAFIP 633 is a liquid, alkaline product, safe on all metals, consisting of a balanced mixture of organic sequestering agents, soaps and surfactants with high detergent power.
ULTRAFIP 633 is used for immersion degreasing with or without ultrasound, and is specifically for the removal of polishing pastes on polished aluminium parts.
Its high content of emulsifying substances makes it active on various types of contaminants, in addition to pastes, also on powders and oils, both whole and emulsifiable.
Usage and Applications
The main use of ULTRAFIP 633 is in static immersion treatment plants or with the aid of systems where the formation of a foam head does not impair applicability, such as ultrasound or rotobarrel.
Concentration ULTRAFIP 633: 3 - 10 %
Solution temperature: 30 - 80 °C

Bathroom control
Concentration control is performed by titration of the total alkalinity present in solution, using the following method:
Take 10 ml of wash solution and place it in an Erlenmeyer flask
. Add about 6-8 drops of bromine cresol green indicator
Titrate with 0.1N hydrochloric acid until blue to yellow turning
The ml of Hydrochloric Acid 0.1N used represents the total alkalinity value.
A bath prepared with 3% ULTRAFIP 633 corresponds to 9 points or 0.1N acid consumption.

Storage
When handling and storing the product, please observe the relevant safety data sheet. If possible, use covered storage areas and avoid exposing the product to heat sources or temperatures below 5°.
