Technical specifications
ULTRAFIP 634 is a liquid product, suitable for all metals, specifically designed for the removal of polishing pastes, neat and emulsifiable oils.
It is used with excellent results in electroplating for costume jewelry components and in the eyewear and cutlery industries. Suitable for cleaning small zamak parts and aluminum components.
Thanks to its special formulation, free of boron, EDTA, chlorinated or petroleum solvents, it does not attack brass, copper, zamak, or aluminum, even during prolonged line downtime. The use of ultrasound enhances its cleaning power and, above all, increases the product's disintegrating action on polishing pastes.
Use and Applications
ULTRAFIP 634 is used in ultrasonic immersion tanks.
Good degreasing results can be achieved at temperatures as low as 50-55 °C; for heavy soil situations (e.g. polishing pastes containing binders, which are very difficult to remove) it may be necessary to operate at temperatures up to 65 °C.
Pay attention to the operating temperature as the parts could undergo self-drying.
ULTRAFIP 634 is used in aqueous solution, by immersion, under the following operating conditions:
Bath temperature: 50 – 65 °C
Treatment time: 3 – 30 minutes
Bath makeup: 20 – 70 g/l
Thorough rinsing is recommended after washing the workpieces.

Bath control
Take 10 ml of bath cooled to room temperature with a graduated pipette and place it in a 250 ml beaker.
Add approximately 50 ml of demineralized water and 3-4 drops of phenolphthalein indicator.
The solution will turn pink.
Titrate slowly with 0.1 N hydrochloric or sulfuric acid until the color changes from pink to colorless and read the ml of 0.1 N acid consumed, which represent the bath points.

Power supply
For each missing point in ml, add 5,3 kg of product per 1000 kg of bath.
The Fiprokim Technical Service will provide, during the plant start-up phase, the optimal conditions of use, depending on the quality and quantity of foreign substances to be removed present on the surface of the material and the type of plant itself.
Storage
For the transport, storage, handling, and discharge of wastewater, follow the instructions and regulations in force. For further information on the product, consult the Safety Data Sheet.
Store the product in its original, sealed packaging, in a cool place, protected from frost and direct sunlight.
