WATERFIP 849 is a high quality powdered activated carbon product obtained by physical activation with heat and steam of selected raw materials.
It has excellent adsorptive properties due to its special porous structure and is therefore suitable for all applications requiring the removal of large quantities of pollutants even at low product dosages.
Usage and Applications
WATERFIP 849 adsorbs a wide range of organic substances including phenols, tannins and chlorine derivatives. The product is also used for the purification of water for human consumption as well as in the purification of civil and industrial waste water.
WATERFIP 849 is particularly suitable for the treatment of water with high surfactant content.
It also finds application in the pharmaceutical and fine chemicals industries.
