WATERFIP C 220

COAGULANTI E FLOCCULANTI, DISINCROSTANTI, BATTERICIDI

Technical specifications

WATERFIP C 220 is a powder based on bentonites mixed with inorganic salts, activated carbon and flocculants.

Usage and Applications

WATERFIP C 220 is used in a wide range of chemical clariflocculation treatments of industrial and civil waste water. It can be used for the treatment of waste water from car washing, engine washing and new vehicle de-waxing, washing and degreasing water from detergents and degreasing agents in industry in general. It can also be effectively used to treat tumbling, alkaline degreasing and phosphodegreasing waters, waters from paint booths, washing glues, inks, dyes (furniture factories, silk-screen printers, typographies, dye-works, etc.). It also exhibits excellent application performance on mineral, synthetic and semi-synthetic based cooling oil emulsions.

WATERFIP C 220 breaks up the emulsion caused by surfactants, forming a polymeric compound that, by binding the oil molecules to itself, also engulfs surfactants and other pollutants, including numerous metal ions, normally present in this type of discharge.

The product WATERFIP C 220 is added directly to the water to be treated either manually or using a dosing device, taking care to ensure good agitation of the bath. WATERFIP C 220 is used in chemical-physical water purification plants where it can be added as such alone or in combination with other primary flocculants.

The dosage of the product varies depending on the type of effluent and the plant. Indicative dosages are between 0.5 and 5 kg/m3 of water to be treated.

Storage

The product is neither toxic nor aggressive; however, as it is a chemical product, it should be used with caution; we therefore recommend handling it using gloves and a mask. In case of accidental contact with the eyes, wash the area thoroughly with running water. Due to its high hygroscopicity, the product should be stored in its original packaging tightly closed in a dry environment.
