WATERFIP C 202 is a liquid, highly alkaline flocculant-coagulant for paint. The product has been formulated and optimized to economically coagulate oversprayed paint (otherwise difficult to treat) and make it, when required, easily dispersible in water using suitable equipment, while also providing an effective antibacterial action.
Use and Applications
WATERFIP C 202 is used to treat the water used in spray paint booths. The product effectively acts as a coagulant-denaturant to prevent oversprayed paint from adhering to tanks, pump walls, parts, and general equipment within the booth.
Being a liquid, WATERFIP C 202 is easy to dose and disperses quickly, uniformly, and completely.
WATERFIP C 202 should be added to the recirculation system at a rate of 6-9 liters per 1,000 liters of water.

Bath control
Take 20 ml of solution from the booth tank, add 5 drops of phenolphthalein and titrate with 0.1 N hydrochloric acid until the pink color disappears.

Storage
WATERFIP C 202 is highly alkaline and can cause burns. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and clothing. When handling, wear protective goggles, aprons, and rubber gloves.
To prevent splashing, slowly add the fresh product to the baths. Store away from acids.
