FIPRO DEFOAM 153 is a defoamer free of silicone derivatives, which is widely used in industrial water purification operations, in the textile and tanning industries, and in the production of water-based paints and waxes.
It is characterized by a low degree of flow and the absence of stratification even at low temperatures.
It is produced with a blend of suitably treated oils in order to achieve a fast and continuous defoaming effect.

Use and Applications
In industrial wastewater treatment, the use of 1-10 ppm of FIPRO DEFOAM 153 defoamer is recommended.
FIPRO DEFOAM 153 defoamer is effective against foams from surfactants, finishing resins (vinyl, acrylic, and mixed), wax emulsions, protein derivatives, and anionic, non-ionic, and cationic foaming products.
FIPRO DEFOAM 153 defoamer can be used as is or diluted to approx. 10% in water; in the latter case, it is recommended to stir the 10% emulsion before use.
