FIPRO DEFOAM 156 is a newly formulated silicone emulsion obtained thanks to a modern processing methodology, which allows to maximise the characteristics of silicone as an active ingredient able to rapidly deaerate bubbles on the surface.
The use of new raw material processing techniques, in combination with a low dose of non-ionogenic emulsifiers, which do not interfere with the systems into which they are introduced, give FIPRO DEFOAM 156 not only an immediate anti-foaming effect but also a prolonged action that prevents the re-forming of foaming bubbles.
Usage and Applications
The product has been successfully used in water purification, in the paper and tanning industry and in all industrial processes where foam needs to be abated or prevented. It is advisable to use the product diluted in water and to place it on installations where it is most likely to come into contact with foam.
In our experience we recommend dosing at concentrations of 15 to 45 mg/Kg ppm.
