FIPRO DEFOAM 156 is a recently formulated silicone emulsion obtained thanks to a modern processing methodology, which allows the characteristics of silicone to be maximized as an active ingredient capable of rapidly deaerating surface bubbles.
The use of new raw material processing techniques, in combination with a low dose of non-ionic emulsifiers, which do not interfere with the systems into which they are introduced, provides FIPRO DEFOAM 156 with not only an immediate antifoaming effect but also a prolonged action that prevents the re-formation of foam bubbles.
Use and Applications
The product has been successfully used in water treatment, in the paper and tanning industries, and in all industrial processes where it is necessary to suppress or prevent foam. It is recommended to use the product diluted in water and to introduce it into the systems at those points where it can come into closest contact with the foam.
Based on our experience, we recommend dosing it in concentrations ranging from 15 to 45 mg/Kg ppm.
