FIPRO DEFOAM 171 is a newly formulated silicone emulsion with a milky, medium-dry appearance, obtained using a modern processing method, which allows the characteristics of silicone as an active ingredient to be maximised, capable of rapidly deaerating bubbles on the surface.
Usage and Applications
The use of new raw material processing techniques, in combination with a low dose of non-ionogenic emulsifiers, which do not interfere with the systems into which they are introduced, give FIPRO DEFOAM 171 not only an immediate anti-foaming effect but also a prolonged action that prevents the re-forming of foaming bubbles.
The product has been successfully used in water purification, in the paper and tanning industry and in all industrial processes where foam needs to be reduced or prevented. Suitable for evaporators.
