FIPRO SG 570 is an energetic alkaline cleaner for degreasing, rust removal, paint stripping, decarbonisation. Not to be used on aluminium. It is a strong alkali compound, removes surface oxidation. Not to be used for electropolishing.
Usage and Applications
FIPRO SG 570 is used in concentrations ranging from 5 to 15% in water at a temperature between 80 and 95°C. It is advisable to dissolve the product in cold water before heating. After treatment, rinse thoroughly.

Bathroom control
The liquor is checked by titration of free alkalinity as follows: take 5 ml of liquor, add 3-4 drops of phenolphthalein and titrate with 0.1 N hydrochloric acid until the colour changes from pink to colourless. The consumption of 0.1 N hydrochloric acid multiplied by 1.25 gives the concentration of the product in g/l.
