Technical characteristics
FIPRO SG 570 is a heavy-duty alkaline cleaner for degreasing, removing rust, paint stripping, and decarbonizing. Do not use on aluminum. It is a compound based on strong alkalis, it removes surface oxidation. It must not be used for electrocleaning.
Use and Applications
FIPRO SG 570 is used in concentrations ranging from 5 to 15% in water at temperatures between 80 and 95°C. It is advisable to dissolve the product in cold water before heating. Rinse thoroughly after treatment.

Bath control
Bath control is carried out by titration of the free alkalinity as follows: take 5 ml of bath, add 3-4 drops of phenolphthalein and titrate with 0.1 N hydrochloric acid until the color changes from pink to colorless. The consumption of 0.1 N hydrochloric acid multiplied by 1.25 gives the product concentration in g/l.
A bath with a concentration of 10 g/l has a score of approximately 8.
