Mildly alkaline liquid degreaser formulated for the preliminary treatment of metals and aluminum, particularly in pre-painting cycles.
To provide the product with greater detergency against oily contamination, the use of a detergent booster is recommended, which our Technical Service will be able to suggest based on the cycle and operating conditions (e.g., our FIPROPLUS 701).
Use and Applications
It can be applied by spray at a concentration of 10-20 g/l or by immersion at a concentration of 30-50 g/l.

Bath control
Bath control is based on an acid-base titration according to the following methodology:
- Take 10 ml of the bath.
- Add approximately 10 ml of distilled water and a few drops of methyl orange indicator.
- Titrate with 0.1 N hydrochloric acid (0.1 N HCl) from yellow to a persistent red color.
Let V1 be the volume in ml of acid used for the titration. For a fresh bath prepared at a concentration of 20 g/l V1 = 5; this value constitutes the initial points of the bath.
The number of ml of N/10 HCl consumed by the titration multiplied by 4 provides the concentration in g/l of the bath.
