Technical characteristics
FIPRO SG 593 is an alkaline liquid degreaser formulated for the pre-treatment of iron, steel, galvanized steel, and alloy surfaces prior to phosphating.
FIPRO SG 593 is particularly suitable for spray and immersion applications.
Bath control
Take 10 ml of bath using a volumetric pipette, place them in a flask, add 50 ml of distilled water and 2 to 3 drops of phenolphthalein indicator.
Titrate with 0.1 N sulfuric acid until the color changes from red-violet to colorless.
The number of ml of 0.1 N sulfuric acid consumed for the color change indicates the points of the FIPRO SG 593 bath.
A bath prepared at 30 g/l has a point value of approximately 4.8.

Use and Applications
FIPRO SG 593 is used in aqueous solution, by spray and/or immersion, in combination with an appropriate degreasing additive (recommended by the Fiprokim Technical Service) under the following operating conditions:

Power supply
If the score decreases compared to its initial value, replenish the bath with FIPRO SG 593 in at a rate of 6,3 kg for each missing point and for every 1000 liters of bath.
Tanks and Storage
Store the product in its original packaging in a cool, dry place, protect from frost.
All parts in contact with FIPRO SG 593 can be constructed from standard carbon steel.
