FIPRO SG 592 is an acidic liquid product formulated for degreasing all metals (including precious metals), preferably in ultrasonic systems.
Use and Applications
FIPRO SG 592 is used in aqueous solution, by immersion, under the following operating conditions:
Bath temperature: from 45° to 80°C (in ultrasonic baths from 45° to 50°C)
Treatment time: from 1' to 5' (in ultrasonic baths from 30" to 90")
Bath make-up: from 10 to 50 g/l (in ultrasonic baths 30 g/l)

Bath control
Take 50 ml of bath using a calibrated pipette, place in a flask, dilute with distilled water and add 5 - 8 drops of bromocresol green indicator. Titrate with 0.1 N caustic soda until the color changes from yellow to blue.
The number of ml of 0.1 N caustic soda consumed for the color change gives the points of the FIPRO SG 592 bath.
A bath prepared at 30 g/l has a points value of approximately 18.

Power supply
Replenish the bath with FIPRO SG 592 in at a rate of 1.8 kg for each missing point and for each 1000 l of bath.
The Fiprokim Technical Service will provide the optimal operating conditions during the plant start-up phase, based on the type of contaminant to be removed and the type of plant used.
Storage
All materials coming into contact with FIPRO SG 592 must be made of acid-resistant material (preferably, AISI 316L stainless steel).
