FIPRODISK 101 is used for the removal of rust, oxides, and scale from ferrous materials without attacking the base metal.
Descaling of limescale deposits from water circulation systems (heat exchangers, various equipment) in all industries.

Use and Applications
Operating concentrations vary from 5 to 50% by volume.
It is normally used at room temperature. To accelerate its action against rust or scale, a maximum temperature of 60 °C can be reached.
For descaling equipment with circulation, introduce slowly from the bottom of the system to avoid air pockets and ensure there is a vent for the vapors formed during descaling.
During pickling or descaling, titrate the solution at intervals.
When the concentration of FIPRODISK 101 stabilizes at a certain value, the operation is complete.
Proceed to rinsing with water and perform neutralization with an alkaline product.
Slowly add FIPRODISK 101 to cold water and never vice versa. Tanks must be constructed of acid-resistant material such as wood, ceramic, PVC-coated or rubber-lined iron.

Bath control
Titrate according to the following procedure:
Take 10 ml of the solution to be analyzed and transfer it to the glass beaker (or Erlenmeyer flask)
Add 20 ml of distilled water.
Add 5-8 drops of METHYL ORANGE indicator. The solution will turn red.
Titrate the resulting solution, while stirring, with 1 N NaOH until a YELLOW color is obtained. This color change marks the end of the titration.
Power supply
To obtain the concentration in %, multiply the value obtained by the fixed number 1.6. Then bring the concentration to the required value.
Precautions
FIPRODISK 101 is a highly acidic product. Handle wearing gloves and protective clothing.
Use in well-ventilated areas or equip the tanks with extraction systems.
