FIPRO DISK 109 is a descaler based on inorganic and organic acids, dust-suppressing dispersants, and corrosion inhibitors. It is particularly suitable for removing scale in phosphodegreasing tunnels, as it does not require thorough rinsing due to its composition being compatible with any phosphodegreaser. Chloride-free. The composition of FIPRO DISK 109 is suitable for the deoxidation of iron components and for the removal of welding residues. Also applicable to yellow alloy oxidation.

Use and Applications
FIPRO DISK 109 is normally used in aqueous solution at concentrations between 2% and 20%, at temperatures ranging from 30 to 60 °C.
It is recommended to start descaling operations with the minimum concentrations and gradually increase product additions, checking both the residual acidity and the condition of the scale.

Bath control
The correct dosage of FIPRO DISK 109 is determined during the plant start-up phase. No specific analytical controls are required for the product, the dosage of which is dependent on the required final descaling result.
For deoxidizing use:
take 10 ml of the bath
add 5-6 drops of bromocresol green indicator. The solution will turn yellow.
Titrate with 1N sodium hydroxide NaOH until the color changes to bottle green.
The ml consumed represent the bath points. For every 0.1 missing point, per 1000 liters of bath, add 1,8 Kg of product.
Storage
Avoid impacts and improper handling of packaging that may cause product spillage. Protect from freezing, store away from heat sources, keep containers tightly closed.
