Technical specifications
FIPRO DISK 109 is a descaling agent based on inorganic and organic acids, dust dispersants and corrosion inhibitors. It is particularly suitable for removing encrustations in phosphate degreasing tunnels, as it does not require thorough rinsing as its composition is compatible with any phosphate degreaser. Chloride-free. The composition of FIPRO DISK 109 is suitable for deoxidising iron artefacts and removing welding residues. Also applicable on oxidation of yellow alloys.

Usage and Applications
FIPRO DISK 109 is normally used in aqueous solution at concentrations between 2% and 20%, at temperatures ranging from 30 to 60 °C.
It is advisable to start descaling operations with the lowest concentrations and gradually increase product additions, checking both residual acidity and the state of the incrustations.

Bathroom control
The correct dosage of FIPRO DISK 109 is determined at plant start-up. No specific analytical controls are required for the product, the dosage of which is dependent on the required final descaling result.
For fluxing application:
- .
take 10 ml bath
add 5-6 drops of bromocresol green indicator. The solution will turn yellow.
. Titrate with sodium hydrate NaOH 1N until it turns bottle green.
The ml consumed represent the bath score. For every 0.1 point missing, for 1000 litres of bath, add 1.8 kg of product.
Storage
Avoid shocks, improper handling of packages that may cause product spillage. Protect from frost, store away from heat sources, keep containers tightly closed.
