FIPROPLUS 924 is a liquid, opalescent, highly concentrated product, designed to be used as a demulsifier in washing processes to achieve an excellent floating effect of emulsified oils and greases in the baths.
The formulation allows its use in spray systems (alkaline degreasing and phosphate degreasing) and in immersion systems (hydrochloric acid-based pickling, zinc plating).
Use and Applications
The dosage of FIPROPLUS 924 depends on the quantity of emulsified oils and greases present in the bath.
It is therefore recommended to carry out preliminary laboratory and plant tests to determine the exact dosages of the product. It can be dosed both manually and using suitable dosing systems.
Indicatively, the dosage is between 0.05% and 2% on the bath.
Depending on the customer's needs, FIPROPLUS 924 can be dosed either continuously (very high presence of oil) or discontinuously (scheduled weekly demulsification action).
It is recommended to remove the demulsified phase using suitable mechanical or physical systems.
Furthermore, if the bath is static and hot, oil separation is facilitated.
