FIPROSTEEL 764 is a liquid pickling remover for stainless steel, used to degrease and remove any traces of ferrous pollution from stainless steel surfaces.
It is formulated without hydrofluoric acid, in order to avoid the dangerous toxicity of hydrofluoric acid. It is an important treatment as it not only removes grease from processing but also depollutes and improves the aesthetic appearance of surfaces, as it tends to enhance the pre-existing polish. It has the advantage, unlike traditional pickling baths for stainless steel, of not flaming the parts, regardless of the temperature and time spent in the bath. If the conditions of use are adhered to, its service life is very long, measured in years.

Use
Use iron tanks lined with PVC, or if small in polyethylene, polypropylene, etc. Dilute FIPROSTEEL 764 1:1 with water by volume.
Immerse the parts in the prepared solution at room temperature.
The immersion time can vary from a few minutes to more than 1 or 2 hours, depending on the type of steel, its thickness, the type of oxide and the temperature.
During the cold season, the solution can be heated if necessary, with rubber coils and steam passage, or Teflon-coated heating elements, heating max. 30°.
