FIPROSTRIP AC 273 is a liquid paint stripper free from n-methylpyrrolidone (toxic substance) suitable for treatment in hot immersion and recirculation systems of painted iron, aluminum, zinc, and alloy parts.
Its balanced formulation combines high disintegrating power with high paint swelling and releasing capacity.
FIPROSTRIP AC 273 is suitable for removing various types of paint, including: powder coatings (polyester, epoxy, polyurethane) and liquid paints (water- or solvent-based).

Use and Applications
The product is used pure, in immersion or recirculation systems, at temperatures ranging from 60 to 85 °C. The contact time depends on the type of paint to be removed, usually varying between 30 and 120 minutes.
It is used for the hot paint stripping of iron, aluminum, zinc and alloy parts.

Bath control
The bath must be checked periodically and topped up if necessary in the event of a drop in application performance.
Take 1 ml of the bath and place them in a conical flask or beaker. Add 50 ml of demineralized water and 5 drops of phenolphthalein. The solution will turn purple. Using a graduated pipette and stirring the bath, titrate by gradually adding 1 N Acid until the purple color disappears.
A new bath has a score of 2,4 ml.
It is recommended not to fall below 1.8 points. The minimum value will, however, be established during the testing phase.
Power supply
Bring the paint stripping tank to level with FIPROSTRIP AC 273, homogenize, and proceed with the analytical check of the points.
To increase the alkalinity by 0.1 points and for every 100 liters of bath, add 0,625 Kg of ALCAFIP 1050.
Storage
Avoid impacts and improper handling that may cause product spillage.
Protect from frost, store away from heat sources, and keep containers tightly closed.
