Technical specifications
METALFIP 325 is an acid mixture designed for descaling and deoxidising metal surfaces. It is ideal for degreasing and deoxidising aluminium surfaces in preparation for subsequent pre-painting conversion treatments. Can be used for the treatment of stainless steel surfaces. Do not use the product on iron, cast iron and yellow alloys.

The main use of METALFIP 325 is in static immersion treatment plants.

Controlling solutions
Take 10 ml of the bath to be analysed and place in the flask
. Add 5-6 drops of phenolphthalein indicator
Add 100 ml distilled water
Titrate with sodium hydrate N/10 until a persistent pink colouration of the solution is obtained.
The ml of Sodium Hydrate N/10 consumed in the titration indicate the total acidity of the bath of METALFIP 325.

Power supply
To obtain the concentration in g/lt multiply the value obtained by the fixed number "2.9".
Then bring the concentration to the required value by adding 2.9 kg of product per 1000 litres of bath for each missing point.
For a 10 g/l solution the score is approx. 3.5 ml of 0.1 N sodium hydrate.
