Technical specifications

FIPROPHOS 517 is a liquid phospho-degreaser designed for the pre-painting treatment of stainless steel and ferrous metal items.

It is applied using pressure washer lances.

FIPROPHOS 517, thanks to its high content of passivating agents and corrosion inhibitors, provides good passivation on iron parts.

Use and Applications

The main use of FIPROPHOS 517 is in spray applications with a pressure lance for the preparation of metal surfaces for subsequent painting.


Concentration of FIPROPHOS          517: 3 – 5 %

Solution temperature:      35 – 70 °C

Treatment time:                    3 –  5 min
