Technical characteristics
FIPROSTEEL 757 is a liquid pickling agent for 300 series stainless steel.
The formulation is hydrofluoric acid-free, in order to offer a safer product for the operator and with reduced hazard labeling.
Unlike traditional stainless steel pickling baths, it has the advantage of not burning the parts, regardless of the temperature and immersion time in the bath. If the conditions of use are respected, its service life is very long, on the order of years.

Use
It is recommended to dilute FIPROSTEEL 757 1:1 with tap water.
Immerse the parts in the solution thus prepared at room temperature.
The immersion time can vary from a few minutes to over 1 or 2 hours, depending on the type of steel, its thickness, the type of oxide, and the temperature.
During the cold season, if necessary, the solution can be heated using rubber coils and steam passage, or Teflon-coated heating elements, heating to a maximum of 30°C.
To avoid alterations in the bath, which would compromise its lifespan, parts must be pre-degreased if they are greasy.
For proper use, it is necessary to periodically replenish the solution in order to maintain it in perfect active balance, by adding FIPROSTEEL 761.
