Technical specifications
FIPROSTEEL 758 is a pickling gel for 300 series stainless steel.
It allows pickling of both welded sections only and the entire surface without leaving unsightly traces. No problem when used outdoors, even in sunny exposures, as long as you take care not to apply on overheated surfaces.
The product should not be used on stainless steel surfaces with a flowered or satin finish. For these surfaces, use FIPROSTEEL 765 or FIPROSTEEL 779.

Use
FIPROSTEEL 758 should be used as it is (e.g. with a brush), while FIPROSTEEL 754 is recommended for use with a sprayer.
We recommend mixing the gel before use and spreading a not too thin layer on the part to be pickled with a brush. Wait the necessary time which, depending on the type of steel, thickness and type of weld, can vary from a few minutes to several hours.
If necessary, rework the weld with a stainless steel brush before washing.
Wash with cold water, preferably with a pressure washer (pressure washer).
Not necessarily, but if you want to obtain a better result, after the first cold wash, follow with a hot wash.
