Technical specifications
FIPROSTEEL 758 is a pickling gel for 300 series stainless steel.
It allows for the pickling of both welded areas only and the entire surface without leaving unsightly marks. It does not cause application problems outdoors, even in direct sunlight, provided care is taken not to apply it to overheated surfaces.
The product should not be used on patterned stainless steel surfaces or those with satin finishes. For these surfaces, use FIPROSTEEL 765 or FIPROSTEEL 779.

Use
FIPROSTEEL 758 should be used as is (e.g. by brush), while for applications with a sprayer, the use of FIPROSTEEL 754 is recommended.
It is recommended to mix the gel before use, and apply a layer that is not too thin onto the part to be pickled using a brush. Wait for the necessary time which, depending on the type of steel, the thickness, and the type of weld, can vary from a few minutes to several hours.
If necessary, before washing, brush the weld again with a stainless steel brush.
Wash with cold water, preferably with a high-pressure jet (pressure washer).
Not strictly necessary, but to achieve a better result, follow the first cold wash with a hot wash.
