Use and Applications
WATERFIP 873 is used in a wide range of chemical clarification-flocculation treatments for industrial and civil wastewater. It can be used for treating wastewater from car washes, engine washing, and new vehicle dewaxing, as well as washing and degreasing water using detergents and degreasers in industry in general. It can also be effectively used to treat water from tumbling, alkaline degreasing, and phospho-degreasing, water from spray booths, glue washing, inks, dyes (furniture factories, screen printing, printing houses, paint factories, dye works, etc.). It also delivers excellent application performance on mineral, synthetic, and semi-synthetic coolant oil emulsions.
WATERFIP 873 breaks the emulsion caused by surfactants, forming a polymeric compound that, by binding the oil molecules to itself, also incorporates the surfactants and other pollutants, including numerous metal ions, normally present in this type of wastewater.
The product WATERFIP 873 is added directly to the water to be treated, either manually or using a suitable dosing system, ensuring good agitation of the bath. WATERFIP 873 is used in physical-chemical purification plants where it can be added as is, on its own or in combination with other primary flocculants.
The product dosage varies depending on the type of wastewater and the plant. As an indication, dosages range between 0.5 and 5 kg/m3 of water to be treated. The exact quantities are to be determined through simple laboratory tests.

Storage
The product is neither toxic nor aggressive; however, as it is a chemical product, it should be used with caution; it is therefore recommended to handle it using gloves and a mask. In case of accidental contact with eyes, rinse the area thoroughly with running water. Due to its high hygroscopicity, the product must be stored in its original, tightly closed packaging in a dry environment.
