WATERFIP 879 is a denaturing product based on inorganic salts and polymers, particularly suitable for water-based paint particles from spray painting systems; it acts by breaking the paint emulsion with associated enlargement of the flocs, the paint floats and is completely non-adhesive. It is a liquid coagulant with high charge density.
The product must be assisted by a pH corrector in the tank and by a secondary product applied in the sludge separator area.

Use and Applications
Dose WATERFIP 879 directly into the delivery pump to the water curtains. The dosage can vary from 2% up to a concentration of 20% on the overspray.
The product is used as a primary coagulant for the removal of colloidal turbidity from surface water or wastewater; it can also be applied in water/oil separation.
In the presence of strong water movement, the product facilitates the flotation of paints, making removal easier. The best performance is obtained with pH values of the booth water in the range of 7.4 ÷ 8.3; therefore, depending on the alkalinity introduced by the paint, it may be necessary to adjust the pH with a pH adjuster (indicative ratio 1:3-1:4).
