METALFIP 301 is a liquid product suitable for priming the shiny and greasy surfaces of hot-dip galvanized products, before the painting phase.
Since the product is of acidic origin, in contact with the material to be treated it gives rise to a slight pickling action, creating a chemical satin finish (etching) which considerably increases the adhesion of the paint on the surface.
The product is thixotropic, that is, once applied it has a considerable viscosity, and therefore remains well adherent even to vertical and large surfaces.

Usage and Applications
METALFIP 301 is used as it is using a brush for its drafting, but it can also be used by spraying with a pump (rinsing is recommended).
Depending on the degree of etching to be obtained, it can be left on for 10 to 30 minutes.
Rinse thoroughly with mains water at room temperature or hot, wait until the surface is perfectly dry before starting the painting operations.

Warnings
METALFIP 303 is acidic. We therefore recommend the normal precautions when using an acid product.
