FIPRO AK 955 is a product that primarily exerts a corrosion-inhibiting action to prevent the formation of “red water” in the water network and, in addition, a good anti-scaling action.
Use and Applications
FIPRO AK 955 is recommended for drinking water with low total hardness (< 140 ppm CaCO3) and with free carbon dioxide present.
FIPRO AK 955 is a liquid product based on a specific blend of alkaline silicates and phosphates, formulated with raw materials compliant with UNI-EN standards for chemicals used in the conditioning of water intended for human consumption.

Power supply
The dosage of FIPRO AK 955 ranges from 60 to 120 g/m3 of water. Before starting the treatment, it is recommended to check local regulations regarding drinking water. Silica and phosphate contribution from FIPRO AK 955:
1 mg/l FIPRO AK 955 yields: 0,15 mg/l SiO2
and < 0,02 mg/l P2O5
The concentration of the product in the water is determined using a colorimetric analytical method available from Fiprokim.
The product must be dosed continuously as is, using suitable dosing systems, based on the water flow rate.

Storage
The product is available in different packaging.
Store original closed packaging in dry and ventilated areas.
Avoid storage temperatures below +5°C and above 45°C.
Slight differences in the product's appearance do not compromise its efficiency and operational performance.
