Technical specifications
FIPROPLUS 935 is a neutralizing product to be used after acid treatment and exerts a significant antioxidant action during the passivation phase. The use of this formulation is indicated at the end of phosphating, acid pickling, or degreasing cycles of particularly delicate ferrous materials. It is also indicated and recommended as an antioxidant additive in hydro-pneumatic testing baths, and is an excellent passivating agent for iron and cast iron components.

Use and Applications
FIPROPLUS 935 can be used both by spray and immersion, using systems constructed of carbon steel or stainless steel.

BATH PREPARATION
The product is diluted in water (preferably demineralized) to the most suitable concentration required for its use.
Passivating neutralizer 10-60 g/lt
Antioxidant for hydraulic testing 3-10 g/lt

Passivation for inter-operational storage 30-50 g/l
Bath control
Bath control is performed by chemical titration according to the method described below:
Using a calibrated pipette, take exactly 10 ml of the bath, dilute with 20-30 ml of demineralized water and add 4-5 drops of bromocresol green indicator solution. The liquid, which will turn blue, is titrated with a 0.1 N Hydrochloric Acid solution until the color changes from blue to yellow.
The number of ml of Acid used for the color change will correspond to the bath points, the concentration of which can be determined by referring to the following:

Power supply
For each missing point and for every 1000 liters of bath, add 1,8 Kg of product.
Storage
Store the product away from direct sunlight and heat sources. The product is sensitive to frost: store at temperatures above 5 °C.
