Technical specifications
ULTRAFIP 632 is a liquid, acidic, surfactant-activated formulation for use by immersion with ultrasound for degreasing and descaling aluminium die casts. Suitable for iron, zinc, copper, yellow alloys, aluminium alloys.
ULTRAFIP 632 consists mainly of organic acids, surfactants and oxidation inhibitors.
Usage and Applications
ULTRAFIP 632 is used in immersion tanks, possibly with ultrasound.
ULTRAFIP 632 is used in an aqueous, immersion solution under the following operating conditions:
Treatment time 5-60 minutes
Bath temperature 10-90 °C
Bath concentration 50-500 g/l
The Fiprokim Technical Service will provide, during the plant start-up phase, the optimal conditions of use, depending on the quality and quantity of the foreign substances to be removed present on the surface of the material and the type of plant itself.

Bathroom control
With a graduated pipette, take 5 ml of cooled bath at room temperature and place in a 250 ml beaker. Add approx. 50 ml of demineralised water and 3-4 drops of Verdebromocresol indicator.
. The solution will turn yellow. Titrate with 1 N sodium hydroxide slowly until it turns from yellow to bottle green and read off the ml of 1N sodium hydroxide consumed, representing the bath score.

Power supply
For each missing point determined with sodium hydroxide 0.1N add 9 kg of product per 1000 kg bath.
For each missing point determined with sodium hydroxide 1N add 0.9 kg of product per 1000 kg of liquor.
