Technical specifications
FIPRO SG 569 is a medium alkaline liquid formulated with modern low-foam detergents for spray degreasing in washing machines and washing tunnels. This product has high washing properties against emulsifiable and whole oils, even at low concentrations, and excellent rinsing properties, which makes it suitable for use in pre-degreasing where not only a very high degree of cleanliness is required but also the complete absence of alkaline detergent residues in the subsequent phosphating phase.
FIPRO SG 569 can be used on ferrous and stainless steel as well as on copper, magnesium and zamak. Depending on temperature, concentration and contact time, FIPRO SG 569 lightly attacks aluminium and its alloys.
Usage and Applications
The product is used in spray washing machines at a concentration of 30-80 g/l at a temperature ranging from 30 to 60° C depending on the material treated and the contaminant to be removed. In the case of application on zamak, copper and magnesium it is recommended to work at temperatures not exceeding 60° C.

Bathroom control
The bath is titrated by determining the alkalinity with bromocresol green indicator and HCl N/10 titrating solution as follows:
Pipette 5 ml of the bath, add 3-5 drops of bromocresol green and titrate with HCl N/10 until the solution turns from blue to yellow. The number of ml of HCl N/10 consumed by the titration multiplied by 4 gives the concentration in g/l of the bath.
