FIPRODISK 101 is used to remove rust, oxides and encrustations from ferrous material without attacking the base metal.
Descaling of limestone deposits from water circulation systems (heat exchangers, various equipment) in all industries.
Removal of oxide, chromium, zinc and cadmium coatings.
Straw yellow liquid
Usage and Applications
The concentrations of use vary from 5 to 50% by volume.
It is normally used at room temperature. To accelerate its action against rust or encrustations, a maximum temperature of 60 ° C can be reached.
For the descaling of equipment with circulation, introduce slowly from the bottom of the system to avoid air pockets and to ensure that there is a vent for the vapors that form during descaling.
During pickling or descaling, titrate the solution at intervals.
When the concentration in FIPRODISK 101 stabilizes at a certain value, the operation is finished.
It passes to the rinsing with water and a neutralization is carried out with an alkaline product.
Slowly add FIPRODISK 101 to cold water and never vice versa. The tanks must be built in antacid material such as wood, ceramic, viplated or rubberized iron.
Control of bathing
Owner according to the following procedure:
Take 10 ml of the solution to be analyzed and place them in the glass beaker (or flask) add 20 ml of distilled water
Add 5-8 drops of METHYLORANGE indicator. The solution will turn red
Titrate the solution obtained, keeping it stirred, with 1 N NaOH until a YELLOW color is obtained. This change identifies the end of the titration
Periodic cleaning of tanks and industrial plants
Removal of calcareous, saline, phosphatic and cement deposits
Descaling of heat exchangers and pipes
FIPRODISK 101 is a strongly acid product. Handle wearing gloves and protective clothing.
Use in well-ventilated areas or equip the tanks with aspirators.
Extremely effective against any type of oxide or salt deposits
Inhibited, therefore it does not give rise to corrosion in the treated system
All water circulation systems (boilers, heat exchangers, towers)
